‘Checking for Charity’ at Stoughton Co-Operative Bank
Stoughton Co-Operative Bank is celebrating hometown banking with a special Checking for Charity campaign. For every personal or business account opened by new customers, the Bank will donate $10 to be shared by five local charities, up to a total of $3,000.
The initiative will benefit the Stoughton Youth Athletic Club, Parents of Performing Students, Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA, Brockton Coalition for the Homeless, and the Ilse Marks Food Pantry. For new checking accounts opened with other accounts for a combined balance of $2,500, the Bank will make a $25 charitable donation.
“The Checking for Charity initiative is another example of the advantages of banking with a hometown bank,” said Luis C. Fortuna, president and CEO of Stoughton Co-Operative Bank. “It’s one more way we can express our commitment to our customers and to our community. We’re proud to reach out to help in the community with the support of our customers.”
